SUFFOLK COUNTY CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER
The EAC Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, neutral, child-oriented environment for the coordinated investigation of child physical and sexual abuse cases. The Center opened in 1997, and serves up to 300 children annually.


SUITED FOR SUCCESS
The objective of the Suited For Success Programs is to provide EAC clients with appropriate interview attire at no charge.  Suited For Success was implemented in Hempstead in 2001 and Brooklyn in 2007 to meet the needs of men and women who are returning to the workforce or entering the job market for the first time.

SUPERVISED VISITATION PROGRAM
The EAC Long Island Supervised Visitation Program provides safe, supervised visits between children and non-custodial parents. Cases are court-ordered to the program and reviewed regularly by the courts for compliance. EAC has been operating Supervised Visitation since 1989.

TASC- EXTENDED WILLARD TREATMENT CAMPUS
The TASC - Extended Willard Treatment Campus has been operational since December, 1999 and is designed to implement the fifteen month Judicially Sanctioned Willard Model as a Pilot in both Bronx and Queens Counties. Within the project the Courts in both these counties, in collaboration with the District Attorneys in these counties, will sentence appropriate second felony offender, substance abusing defendants to NYS Parole supervision wherein it will be required that these defendants spend a minimum period of 3 months at the Willard Treatment Campus to be followed by at least 6 months of community based residential treatment and then 6 months in an outpatient aftercare program. The goal of the project is to create a successful treatment model that will inspire the confidence of the Courts, the District Attorneys and the community and result in the successful rehabilitation of participants who upon return to their communities will be better able to make a positive contribution.

TASC - LONG ISLAND
The Long Island TASC Programs are an alternative-to-incarceration for jail or prison bound non-violent offenders whose substance abuse is related to their criminal activity. TASC Programs divert certain offenders out of the criminal justice system and into the drug treatment system in cases where the defendant is facing a minimum sentence of 60 days of incarceration as a result of the commission of a non-violent crime. Suffolk TASC accept misdemeanor offenders and predicate and non-predicate felony offenders. Nassau TASC accepts misdemeanor offenders and predicate felony offenders.

Brooklyn TASC, Staten Island TASC and Queens TASC accept misdemeanor offenders and predicate and non-predicate felony offenders. Bronx TASC accepts predicate and non-predicate felony offenders. Queens TASC also works with offenders charged in Criminal Court with domestic violence. EAC has operated TASC programs in the metropolitan area since 1978.
VOCATIONAL SERVICES PROGRAM
EAC's Vocational Services Program provides vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with a substance abuse history in Nassau County. The goal of the program is to assist substance abusers in getting back into the workforce as part of their overall treatment plan. EAC has been administering the Vocational Services Program since 1978, assisting over 4,000 individuals since the program's inception.

WEATHERIZATION REFERRAL AND PACKAGING PROGRAM
The purpose of the Weatherization Referral and Packaging (WRAP) Program is to assist low income families in meeting home energy and safety needs. Working in combination with the Home Energy Assistance Program, WRAP helps to identify energy-related structural problems in homes and makes arrangements for correction of identified problems.

WORC PROGRAM (Women's Opportunity Resource Center)
The WORC Program is an alternative to incarceration program for women offenders. This multi-service program's goal is self-sufficiency and the prevention of recidivism. EAC has been administering the WORC program since 1985.
YOUTHBUILD
Youthbuild assists young men and women (ages 18-24) from the most challenged and economically distressed communities in Suffolk County. Program participants are helped to complete their High School Equivalence Diplomas, increase their literacy and numeracy skills, have on-site construction training experiences which will result in the refurbishing of a house, obtain industry recognized credentials, be placed in employment and obtain economic self-sufficiency.
YOUTHWORKS PROGRAM The YOUTHWORKS Program provides young people, ages 17-21, with an opportunity to acquire job-related experiences, learn appropriate on-the-job behaviors and develop positive job attitudes. YOUTHWORKS enables youth to develop the skills and self-confidence needed to complete a GED and/or gain competitive employment. The program is designed to serve youth who have a designated learning disability who have dropped out of high school and are seeking a GED or who have graduated from high school within the past three years.
