Purpose: EAC's Outpatient Clinic is designed to help substance abusers begin their recovery in a safe and full service treatment program in a structured outpatient environment. Clients are given individual attention with treatment plans to identify their personal problems and set their goals.

Description: Clients can participate in this program under their own initiative or are referred by the criminal justice system. Clients are monitored one-on-one with the goal of attaining and continuing abstinence from substances while vocational/educational goals are identified and support is provided to attain them. Group therapy includes specialized groups for men and women.
The program targets women; homeless; HIV + and AIDS patients; those involved in the criminal justice system, and those who are in need of detoxification, medical and social services.

Funding: The New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services through the Nassau County Department of Drug and Alcohol Addiction provides funds for this program. Fees are based on a sliding scale.
