Purpose: The TASC - Extended Willard Treatment Campus has been operational since December, 1999 and is designed to implement the fifteen month Judicially Sanctioned Willard Model as a Pilot in both Bronx and Queens Counties. Within the project the Courts in both these counties, in collaboration with the District Attorneys in these counties, will sentence appropriate second felony offender, substance abusing defendants to NYS Parole supervision wherein it will be required that these defendants spend a minimum period of 3 months at the Willard Treatment Campus to be followed by at least 6 months of community based residential treatment and then 6 months in an outpatient aftercare program. The goal of the project is to create a successful treatment model that will inspire the confidence of the Courts, the District Attorneys and the community and result in the successful rehabilitation of participants who upon return to their communities will be better able to make a positive contribution.

Eligible Participants: Must be non-violent substance abusing second-felony offenders who are selected by TASC for the Willard Extended Treatment Campus. The program is a joint collaboration between the Courts, the District Attorneys, Corrections, Parole, OASAS, DCJS, TASC and selected treatment programs .

Funding: The program is funded by the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services.
