Purpose: The Enhanced Employment Initiative Program (EEI) is a vocational program designed to provide court mandated clients, with employment placement and other transitional services, that way assisting defendants and their family gain financial security and independence, and maintain childcare support to their children.

Description: EEI provides screening, counseling and intensive job preparation to job seekers, so that the clients we refer to potential employers have more support and are more prepared to take the job than the average job seeker. Clients referred for job placements are the ones that have maintained their sobriety for a prolonged period of time.
Other components include assistance with obtaining appropriate clothing for the job interviews, employment & resume workshops and fatherhood & job retention workshops.

Funding: The Department of Probation & Correctional Alternatives provides funds for this program.
