Purpose: The purpose of the Employment Readiness Initiative Program (ERI) is to provide direct vocational and supportive services to homeless individuals in Nassau County to assist them in reaching their goals towards economic self-sufficiency.

Description: Working in collaboration with homeless shelters in Nassau County, ERI assists individuals to develop the necessary tools to obtain gainful employment through the use of employment assessments, job readiness training, job placement referrals and case management services.

Funding: ERI is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
