GEICO GIVES SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO EAC’S AT-RISK KIDS

EAC received a huge donation of back packs and assorted school supplies from the “Back to School Drive” conducted by GEICO employees. The Woodbury team’s donations were given to children in a variety of our programs. Some of the boys and girls live in foster homes and group homes, while others have families on public assistance or may have a parent who has been incarcerated, or battling substance abuse.

GEICO associates once again stepped up their game for our annual EAC school drive. “We understand that the economy is still going through some turbulence but GEICO associates continued to contribute with personal funds to assist the children of Long Island.  The bottom line is that GEICO associates know how important having an education is. The children need the tools to succeed and that is why so many employees stepped-up and contributed.  We are pleased to be able to assist these Long Island families each year,” said Rod Curran, GEICO’s Asst. Vice President for New York.
