The mission of the Education and Assistance Corp. (EAC, Inc.) is to respond to human needs with programs and services that protect children, promote healthy families, and communities, help seniors and empower individual’s to take control of their lives. In order to accomplish our mission, EAC seeks to hire qualified, professional and dedicated candidates to fill our open positions. EAC’s programs are located on Long Island, the five boroughs of NYC and Rockland County. Below are listed a sampling of EAC positions. Some positions may require an undergraduate or graduate degree.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: (Job vacancies can change without notice)
Case Manager: Act as liaison to courts; assess and refer clients for appropriate programs and services; manage a caseload; complete and maintain records. Undergraduate degree and prior experience preferred.
Educator: Implement educational/training programs for at-risk high school age students in various program settings. Undergraduate degree and prior experience preferred.*Teacher positions in the Nassau Learning Center or Suffolk Learning Center require NYS Certification.
Administrative Assistant: Must have general office skills and the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Computer skills in Word, Excel and data entry required.
Social Worker: Work with families on developing parenting skills and making connections with local resources. Positions require a Master’s degree in Social Work.
Other Positions:
Teachers: N.Y. State Certification in Secondary/Special Education required. Master's Degree in Secondary Education preferred.
Driver: Must have a clean/valid NYS Driver’s License.
Program Aide: High School Diploma or GED required.
